HTTP/1.1 ¦øªA¾¹¤Ó¦£ WOWZERZ!
Download chinese character support for your browser - Clevo is in Taiwan and the error messages are in chinese.
The i865PE is the chipset
, not the motherboard and is made by Intel. Celvo makes the motherboard, which is different.
The problems with the i865 and Corsair memory won't affect Clevos. The Corsair memory is ultra-high-performance desktop memory with extremely low latencies. As the article said, either the memory they were using was bad (Corsair's fault) or, more likely, the i865PE they were using wasn't compatible with the reduced latencies. Either way, it doesn't matter to us, because, a) we don't use Corsair XPS desktop memory, and b) laptop memory today can't run with latency as low as the Corsair memory used in the test. The latencies of any memory in SODIMM form are high enough to be out of the problematic range discovered in the test.
