Maybe they just increased inventories in preparation for the holidays and were dumping the excess in January. Now that February is here, it's back to business as usual.

I had a feeling the i6000 might replace the i8600. Just think...put an x600 in it and it's basically an i8600 with sonoma.

In response to the "while supplies last," I think all of those notebooks will be replaced in time for the March catalog.
