I need a high Spec, slim & stylish Laptop. The best ive seen (3 in 1) is the Alienware laptops but their prices are a little to dear (generally speaking).
Battery Life Minimum of 3.5 hours.

Any ideas on where I can get a good looking/spec laptop as above pls?

Hi chris, if youve been looking at the alienware sentia, take a look at www.rockdirect.com 's pegasus TL. Its the exact same notebook and screen as the alienware, just without the huge price tag and fancy clothes

Or, if you dont need a 3 year warrenty, www.go-mv.co.uk b's version called the mobeus. Works out slightly cheaper if you buy it without a 3 year warrenty. (but you dont get an x-glass screen!!)

I have the pedasus TL from rock, their customer service is 2nd to none, the warrenty is also well worth it. They collect and return by courier and have a very strong presence on their forum.

Cheers for the links Ewok^.
I checked out the Rock noteook and the Pegasus looked very good but didnt say how long the battery life would last?
The Pegasus Ti 2.0GHz would cost me £1432.33 inc VAT and Delivery where as the Acer TM8100 according to the Canadia Dollar would cost me just around £1200 for a better spec.

Any Notebooks with my spec within the limit of £1200?

if you go to the UK acer website http://www.acer.co.uk you can find the laptop then click on "where to buy" then click on the closest location and they should have the 8100 if not they should be able to order it if they are an authorized vendor

Chris, i was talking about the pegasus T L, the smaller one

It doesnt have a dedicated graphics card (the TI has a radeon i think, but is bigger) Its a small 12" screen notebook with a battery that lasts for just under 4 hrs.

I guess the main questions are; Do you really need 2Ghz? Do you need a dedicated graphics card (are you intending to the very play latest games?)

There's no UK specifications listed yet on the Acer UK site, and the vendors I've spoken to have not yet heard any dates for when it will be available to them.

2Ghz will be essential to me as im a heavy user, as same for the 1gb ram.
128mb would be needed as I do play games from time to time.

2hgz would equal a P4 3.2Ghz roughly..

Pegasus TL probably isnt for you then. I played HL2 to completion on mine, but it was pretty slow.

The Centrino is a better processor for consuming less battery life as well from my understanding.
Ewok^, would you agree that the TM8100 would be the best choice for me according to my spec at this present time?
