I am not as keen about benchmarking programs as some of you are so I am looking for a few answers. I see that my Processor (AMD-FX-55) is overclocked from 2.6 to 2.96. When I run a 3dmark Bench it shows the following.
Manufacturer AMD
Family AMD Athlon(tm) 64 FX-55 Processor
Architecture 64-bit
Internal Clock 1.2 GHz
nternal Clock Maximum 2.9 GHz
External Clock 204.0 MHz
Socket Designation Socket 939
Type Central
HyperThreadingTechnology
Capabilities MMX, CMov, RDTSC, 3DNow!, Extended 3DNow!, SSE, SSE2, PAE, NX
Version AMD Athlon(tm) 64 FX-55 Processor
Caches
Level 1 128 KB
Level 2 1 MB
When I run a bench it shows my processor clock as the lower 1.2 ghz. Is this normal? and if not how do I fix it?
