Did you update your bios? ASUS boards are notorious for having invalid Temps, but are usually fixed in bios updates. Get the latest and greatest.

BTW, what kind of desk do you have there and where did you get it?? I am looking to get a generic type desk, basically just a table, but I am having trouble finding one. Any ideas. In fact, maybe I should start my own thread on this.

No. '05... yes.. '03.. no. My sig shows my top '03 and '05 score with a single 6800 GT and 3.2P4 with no overclocking.

I was actually hitting the high 11k range with full OCing....the average score was 11,473 and the highest score was 11,634. After running 3 benches, the temp never rose above 52C...it idles around 36-37C...pretty dang good

saitek gamer keyboard...even has a blue back light

price...gee, thats tricky....the mobo,CPU,case,PSU,and vid cards was around 1100 USD (the other parts I already had)...the cooler was 35USD. the raptor drive was 170 USD and the CD/DVD drives were less than 100. I have no clue what the ram costs today (I bought it a year back for another system similar RAM 4x512 costs 300 USD) nor do I have a clue what the seagate HDD cost. The external audigy cost 120 USD and the keyboard cost 40USD at Best Buy.

total comes to 1865, if my math is correct. a similar system from AW costs 2995 USD....

oh I forgot I had to add one lighted 80mm fan...6-7bucks...so that would make it 1870 USD approx.

Total assembly time was 35 minutes and various words of profanity the darned EZ plug poped out and the installation of windows and norton and overclocking and unreal tournament was 1.5-2 hours.

Very stable system and worth the monkey.
