Well, had my 8890 for just over a year now, I think. Lately, the front hard drive is getting louder and louder. If I pick up the notebook while it is on, and just tilt it slightly left or right, front or back, you can hear what sounds like the hard drive heads rubbing against the spinning platters. This problem is steadily getting worse. I have had the array go corrupt a couple times, and I was always able to go into the BIOS and delete the array, recreate it (without the initialization), and then boot back into windows. Scary, as I had a lot of non-replaceable info on there. Now everything is backed up to another computer. So, is my hard drive about to fail?
