The new panels from what i heard is that they were having problems with the panels that usually fail in 1 year time and also the DVI ports were shortening out also.

Wow you're right. Reading newegg reviews.

Have purchased three. Two were for a dual-monitor setup at work. The third was soon after as a Christmas gift for my son. All three have failed DVI inputs.

Here are pictures of my current set-up. Super sloppy but it gets the job done.

Sitting on the desk is a cheapo Mag Innovision 22" monitor that I picked up for about $250 last year. As seen I have my PS3 sitting above my Aurora m9700 (still running strong). On my dresser is a 50" Toshiba rear projection DLP t.v. 720p. Thinking about setting that up out in the living room for my parents and picking up a 40" Regza 1080p LCD. And last but not least is the Xbox 360 sitting on a ramen box on the floor.

I switch between having my laptop hooked up to the 22" monitor and my t.v. for watching videos off from Veoh. Also since my room is so small I have to play all my games while sitting in bed, which isn't so bad when I want to watch a movie or 2.

Excellent, basicvisual!

I however do not think that "excellent" is a word that should be used when referring to my rats nest of a wire tragedy spotted in the xbox picture. It is function that does matter in the end and everything functions very well. Especially the new $5 a month upgrade from 5meg to 10meg internet service. I've noticed that my online matches on both the PS3 and Xbox are much smoother.

Now all I need to do is build myself a nice DX10 desktop machine this summer. I've been saving and am currently just scoping out the best deals for the components I want.

You mean we all can't have 6 laptops and build desktops every month for fun? And here I was planning to buy 5 60"+ TVs, a couple Wii's, a 360, a PS3 and throw in an ALX or two, plus pick up a few 9800 GX2's and get them water cooled one weekend when the grandkids aren't around.....

It really isn't Shazza's fault. She has had a successful career and her husband supports her tastes for home media/electronics. Hopefully I'll find a nice girlfriend someday whom I wish to marry and she will support my love for gaming and computers.

I'm not hating on Shazza, just poking fun. She's done things right, and obviously has had things going her way for some time.

Hats off to ya Shaz!
