Yes, sir, but I think it makes it louder. This one was sure loud.

You know the sad thing about that pic. I saw it come up for two different auctions for Area-51ms on E-Bay. CAn you bellieve that? Two different people posting this exact pic placing an auction on it as if they physically had this notebook, and claiming this was theirs and the condition that it was in. Sad.

Thanks cracker. I just got those speakers. They are the Logitech z-5500's. I have Creative Megaworks on the other PC which are were the precursor to the current top of the line Gigaworks. The Logitechs sound oncredible, but I'll tell you that Creative has the better software. Their audio clients give you a lot of leeway on configs, diagnostics, and playing around.

Thanks for the kind compliments.

How is the F:5, Agile? That machine seems like a killer, so how does it do in real life? Nice set-up BTW.

Thanks. The machine is killer. I really like it, but to be honest I like my Rage a tad better. This one is sweet. It is really quiet, but huge. You will seriously need to measure yor area if you plan to get it. I ordered it with one Seagate 160, and added a XFX/Netcell RAID card and 3 Raptors. So the thing screams and is really stable. It is incredible. I mad some modifications to it like an LED ring power switch, a HD bay fan, a floppy drive, and the RAID setup. But that was just to personalize it.

It really is an amazing machine, well-built, and extremely fast which it should be for the money. The case is easy to open and access, and facilitates cleaning. As far as the interior, the mirroring is cool but you have to dust it off about once a week. But all around the case is solid, beautiful, impeccably constructed, and designed with fucntionality in mind at the front.

Thanks for the compliments. Hope I answered your question. I have been blessed with many good machines.

honestly man what do you do? or what do your parents do? thats like 15 grand in electronics... maybe more. also, would you be interested in selling your alienware area51m?
Yeah T and alex, you guys are in the ballpark. I don't have much of a social life anymore so instad of blowing cash in the bar or club, I buy components and software. This is my lifeblood though. not eevryone needs such machine but I do spend about 50% of my time on them.

how do I make my money? Well, I am a college student (not living at home), and I get money from the Army (veteran), do IT work (networking mostly), and real estate. Plus I saved a little nest egg from acctive duty.

Anybody want to buy a bunch of TA-50? (Army Gear)

Put me in for an order of 30 of those.

(just kidding)

I seriously don't understand why people get 5.1 speaker systems and don't place them properly around the room. You're doing your ears a disservice people!

Unfortunately I'll have no choice but to put mine in a "cubby hole." You see, I live in the barracks where my side of the room measures about 10'x8'. I am EXTREMELY limited on space considering I have to cram a bed, a bookshelf, a night stand, a TV stand, and a computer desk into that same space. The measurements for this desk are perfect for the Alienware. And I'm not about to disassemble and return it to the store. Trust me, the Predator will get plenty of attention where it will be sitting. I think you can make an exception for me DB.

Thats how I am too.. except for the fact tha I force my partents to buy me my suff lol

But then i say that I force my parents to buy me my parts.. I mean it more as a joke because I do alot of work for them and etc. (if you say what we had to do to keep the place looking good then well you would understand... but not untill there. But I love it.. it gives me a sence of pride from what I have done )

What's Up Guys?

I habe been throughing around the idea of building a new system for quiet a while. Also I dont have a computer to game onat dads. So after talking to him for a while and etc, he has decided to let me build a new computer so that I can teach him to play CS, Half LIfe 2, DOOM 3, Farcry, and etc.

O and ya this will take a while... lol

Also I cant believe how cheap this system is going to be!! ~$2,150 for the parts and then ~$450 for the water cooling.

The Specks Are-
-3500+
-OCZ EL Dual Channel Series Gold Edition 184-Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-4400,
-Hitachi 400GB Hard Drive,
-eVGA GeForce 6800 Ultra 256MB PCI,
-Asus SLI MB,
-Enermax Noisetaker SLI Support 600W Power Supply,
-LITE ON 52x32x52 IDE CD-RW Drive,
-Plextor 16X Double Layer DVD±RW Burner,
-And ETC...
Total= ~$2,150

Watercooling-
-Danger Den NV-68 (Nvidia 6800 series) 3/8" ID Water Block,
-Danger Den RBX - Athlon64/FX/Opteron 3/8" ID Water Block,
-3/8" ID PVC Clear Tubing,
-3/8" UV Reactive Leakproof Y Fitting, (4x)
-Thermaltake T-type Water Temperature Indicator,
-Innovatek Eheim HPPS 12V Water Pump,
-Danger Den Black Ice Xtreme II Dual 120mm Radiator (Black) w/ Customizable Fittings,
Total= ~$450

Total System Cost
= ~$2,550

So what do you guys think??
Also is there anything elce that I should get or change??

Thanks :%
