I6000 3DMark03 Results

Thread Starter
I'm not a gamer so I'm not sure if there were any settings I could have changed to improve the results. In my opinion the computer is great for my needs. I have the WSXGA+ screen which looks wonderful. I saw someone else asking about the bluetooth module but the only device I have is an MX900 which works just fine. I'm not sure what improvements I'm supposed to see with the new version.

No, didn't reformat. Do you really think that would make a big difference?

Well remember, this is the integrated video...

In comparison a Radeon 8500 stock (275/275) gets about 1300 so it's not too bad....
true, actually, I think it would help, Dell puts a lot of garbage on their systems. But who knows, I have to wait though, until Monday to get my memory :P before i can try 3d mark.

hey walt, does ur i6000 base not rest flat when the display is out past 90deg open? the front left of mine comes up ever so slightly, but is dead flat when i close the lid almost all the way, but not when its open. :P

I've seen 3dmark03 scores of around 1140 stated for the 900 before. What's your memory speed and configuration? (E.g., DDR2-400 2x256 or 1x512?)

man, this intergrated video card is not that bad... you have better result than my current desktop... it's an amd 2500+, 512meg DDR 400mhz, video card is geforce fx 5200. It's not a very powerfull desktop, but I am surprise that an intergrated video card perform as good and even a little bit better than my card...

Only problem is vertex shaders are all done by the CPU. So it really depends on the CPU if you're playing shader heavy games and therefore it's weaker in that sense.

In 3DMark 2K3, look at the shader scores. THey're pretty dismal. So games that are older and don't rely so much on shaders will be okay. Newer games will die a slow death with the integrated graphics.

i think thats about the same as the geforce 4 440 go 64mb!!
OK here are my unbeatable benchmark results!

3Dmark03:

3dmark score: 1258
Cpu test: 497

Fill rate (single texture): 555
Fill rate (multi texture): 229

Basically some sad stuff overall. This is the i8600c with 1.6ghz, 768 ram, 64mb nvidia 5200 chipset. Just something for you guys with 9600 cards to compare yourselves to.
