Broke my keyboard

The R button fell off. I can still use "R" but it looks stupid w/o the R button. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas of fixing it? I don't really want to start using glue until I know what to do. Thanks

hmm have you tried snapping it back on? those things snap on and snap off....

i think the trick to snapping it back on is to tilt the key so that you want to lock the upper part of the key first before you push down on the bottom of the key to snap it in place. i am having a hard time to describe it. check the bottom of the key...it should be smooth except for 2 little thingies sticking out on one side and one on the other if i remember correctly. i am being most unhelpful. i wish i could take a pic and show it to ya...but basically you want the 2 grooves to align into the mechanism first and then push down on the key once they are locked and you should hear a snap...sorry but that is the best i can do...pictures are worth a thousand words after all.

Thats fine, I just kept smashing the key into it and it worked. Thanks.
