ok, i just recieved my uniwill 259 from the UPS man today. it has not loaded anything yet, so i opened it and powered it up, trying to install the Windows XP PRO.
the first screen is like this:

"Intel UNDI , PXE-2.0 (build 082)
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Realtek RTL8139(X)/8130/810X PCI Fast Ethernet Controller v2.13 (020326)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.

...
...(this part asked me to insert boot media and press a key)"

and then i put in a window xp pro CD and started trying to install the windows. but then it keeps stoping with an error message of:

"An unexpected error (1072) occurred at line 5218 in d:\xpsprtm\base\boot\setup\setup.c.

press any key to continue."

i don't know what to do, after trying everything that i could.
i wonder if it has something to do with the hardware connections. i have took a picture shows the inside of the laptop, it looks like that a cable is not connected to anywhere... please check out the picture:
can somebody tell me what to do???

That cable is NOT this problem and don't remove the tape off the end. That is your antenna cable for the TV card. Notice that it runs to the coax connector. Make sure that you go into the bios and set it to boot from CD (sounds like you already have). Other than that, sounds like you might have a bad CD. If it is a copy, maybe it is not a good one.

Curiously, I took a look at mine and I have the other cable (the thin black one) plugged into my WiFi card. Are there really 2 WiFi antenna's? If so, I'm gonna hook mine other one up and see if I get a better signal.
