probably, looks like a standard 2.5 inch drive

I wouldn't be suprised if its the Seagate Momentus 7200.1

Oh and did I mention that there is a slight chance it may be SATA. (see the pdf) Haven't been able to find out if the new Dell supports SATA or not, so even if Seagate has SATA 100GB 7200RPM hardrives ready for selling we may not see them through Dell...

Anyone know where else I can get one, apart from direct from Dell?

Sell and Buy Sale???? I am not sure.

I think he/she meant small biz. Dell, as usual, is charging alot for the drive...$399.

That makes sense though, they are the ONLY company I've seen with the drive.

Supply and Demand

simple, get 60gb 7200rpm for now, till when you starting to run out of space in couple of months, upgrade to 100gb from 3rd party, by time, they'd be widely available and cheaper than what Dell sells them for.
Sweet, I think I'll be going to either the 80gb or 100gb 7200 rpm drives. That makes my day, again.
This is great news...........now where are those 10,000 rpm 16meg drives!

it's $400 that's the reason i'm not too excited just yet.
even if its $400ish , its still a step into what we all wanted too, it has to come to that price since they the only ones offering it, and i dont see those drives go less then $250 especially since they are new, am still happy to see 100gb 7,200rpm thats crazy......
Umm, dude, they're 7200 rpm , not 7500 rpm. And they will be very expensive for a while until the *next big thing* comes out.
these should make the seagate 5400.2 drop in price. Im gonna pick one of the two up. How long do you guys think until we see these being sold?
