Oh it's bad, real bad.......

I was using my laptop on my desk this morning. No problems, then I went to sync my Ipaq and turned around to connect the cable and the laptop just turned off. No lights, nothing, hit the button, nada. Got my meter out checked the power supply 20.4 vdc so it's working. Did what Omaha suggested in another post remove battery for 20 minutes then hold power button for 30 sec and then but the unit back together and hookup power and see if it boots. Nada, I think the charging circuit on the board went. I use this unit for everything since we are on the road at least 3 days out of the week. Now I am stuck. Awaiting Sager to call me. I bought it from Pctorque, think I should call them too? This really sux, I am having a monday all over on tuesday.

No point of calling PCT, they just sell the laptops, unfortunately, they don't fix them. (If they did, /me would be bursting with happiness). Looks like you have to play the waiting game like myself and Toast

What is so bad I am on a Compaq Armada m300 which is my wireless sniffer/backup laptop. It does everything I need it to but game. Now hopefully they recieved the laptop today.

At least you had a backup laptop.

Wireless sniffer? What do you REALLY use it for? WarDriving, I'll bet.

Actually use my Ipaq H5555 for wardriving, lol. They got it this morning at 10 am PST. Awaiting to here from them. It's warranty so I better hear something. I don't overclock, i just game from it.

I've never overclocked mine, either. With the amount of heat that accumulates in a notebook, I just can't see any sense in OCing. I don't see the benefits of it, either. But that's just me.

Update:

They say since they went over the 72hr with it they are shipping it back 2nd day which means monday. They haven't said what was wrong. So when i get it back I will let you all know what is up.

Ok got it back and have had it running for 5 days now. Seems to be better ther 2.0 USB isn't doing strange things so the camera and card reader are working fine. I have noticed the fans on normal now run steady and run all the time no more off time.
