I did a reinstall and didn't use the promise ATA driver disk. I am running with the switches in ATA mode with two disk drives. I have been having difficulties in creating a dual boot WinXP config. and can't figure out why I am having trouble.
When I look at device manager, the disk drives show my two drives as SCSI disk devices. Then, under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controller", it shows " Intel ultra/ata controllers....
Might this be the problem, i.e., should I have installed the Promise ATA drivers?
