D810 Small Biz price $2419 loaded, any good?

Thread Starter
Our business buys Dell's regularly, so we have a small biz account.

Been waiting to replace my old i8200, and the time has come.

Got a quote on a new Latitude D810:

2.13 Ghz cpu, XP Pro, 1gb dual channel 533 DDR2 ram, 60gb 7200 HD, WUXGA, 2915 a/b/g wireless, 24x CDRW/DVD, 90W adapter for $2419, $2570.94 out the door with tax/shipping.

Can it get any better than this price? I realize I need to put in Bluetooth as an upgrade.

Reason I ask is because we bought a i9200 for $2500 (2.0, WUXGA, Bluetooth, 7200 HD) and it went down in price not shortly thereafter.

I can't really answer your question for sure, but maybe you should consider this: the ship date on the D810 is March 1st, is it not? It sounds like Dell doesn't have the parts in stock, so ordering it now or waiting for the price to come down over the next few weeks and then ordering won't change that ship date.

I agree with you... wait at least two weeks... I know it's hard... good luck!
