Alright guys, I need help here. My mom bought me a a relatively decent notebook (http://thecamerabuzz.com/tosaa7peiv31.html) and its back ordered. She made me a deal, if I kind find a notebook that I like better with the amount of money she wants to spend (About 1,700$ give or take a few hundred), she will get it. The only thing is, where she got it from (One of those Home Shopping Network type deals,) she had to pay installments of like 300ish a month for 5 months and its done. We don't want to finance or lease, just want a basic installment like that. The reason I'm kinda fighting this notebook is because people have lots of issues regarding static discharge cause the notebook to freeze, shutdown, and restart... and for the obvious fact that I'd like to play games (HL2 maybe?) and unforunately the given video "card" on the notebook we're currently getting is integrated and shares memory... which all of us know won't cut it for any serious gamer. So please! I really really need help here. I'm having a hard time finding this installment deal that my mom wants. I know places like ShopAtHomeTV and HSN have stuff like that, but being frank... their selection really REALLY sucks... and I should be so lucky that my mom even wants to buy me one after we got scammed out of 700$ trying to get a Dell XPS... So please! Any help would be MUCH appreciated. I'd like to have a good amount of memory, hard drive space, good processor that can take on HL2... would like to keep the dvdrw+/- and a nice screen is a must... The price range can be anything from 1,500 to 2,000 but it HAS to have an installment plan that is non financed and not a lease! Thanks a million guys!
