how come my laptop randomly clicks?

I dont touch my mouse and it often randomly clicks. it is the mouse built on. this has happend to me with every laptop i have owned in the past. it gets sooo annoying. do u know what is wrong with it? how can i fix it?

Maybe it has a itch............

Is this a mouse or a touchpad?
Are you referring to the noise of a 'click' or the action of a click?

You're TouchPad is probably set to accept "taps" as mouse clicks and is also probably set to detect very sensitive taps.

Go to the control panel and open the applet for your TouchPad and adjust lower the tap sensitivity or just switch the whole option off.
