9860 problems :(

OK heres the problem. A couple weeks after I got my 9860 it began freezing randomly. Sometimes at startup when it gets to the windows loading screen it would freeze. It was inconvinient but I didnt have time to look into it. It however got worse. It got to the point that it would freeze up while playing songs and other media stuff. So I thought that I would nuke the drive. When I get to the screen that asks what drive I want to reformat it shows nothing. No internal hard drive or anything. Its like the drive isnt there. Now the computer wont start without freezing. This sucks Anyone have any advice? Anything would be greatful.

Computer Potato's 9860 Review explains exactly how to solve your problem.

I don't know how it is for reformating but my os installation varied a little from that review. After I hit f6 itll start loading stuff then when it asked if i wanted to load any extra scsi, cd-roms, controllers i pressed s (while the floppy was in). Make sure you have the right files copied you need the textoem file and the stuff inside the win xp folder. After it was done it went back to the same screen where it asked if i wanted extra stuff installed and I just pressed enter there. Went on to partitioning and stuff. Not sure if I did it right so we'll see how it turns out. :P
