Delivery to Europe (Switzerland)

Hi!
First of all - great forum with good information!I' m very happy I found this forum and information about the sager-notebooks because I think a 5660 or 8886 is exactly what I am looking for.

Now to the question: I would soon like to order two of the notebooks i mentioned above. The problem is just that they should be delivred to switzerland. Does anybody know if there is a dealer in Europe or can I just order the laptops at sager directly or is it eaven possible to order the sagers at pc torque and if so what would that cost?

Would be great if someone could answer my questions! Sorry if my english isn't too good ;-)

I'm not aware of any dealers in your area. Our merchant account does online real time international credit card processing and shipping would be UPS. If you want to figure international shipping charges, you can go to the UPS website and fill in your address as the destination and the from address as:

18005 Cortney Court
City of Industry, CA 91748 USA

We're working on the database to make all of this easier for the customer.

Keep in mind, for warranty overseas, the customer must pay shipping both ways as per Sager's policy.

Powernotebooks does international shipping also I believe.

Thank's for your fast reply! If I understood this right at ups shipping would cost me about 150 USD. No problem for delivery once (cause of your good prices ) but in case of warranty this gets expensive...

Well, we'll see, i'd realy prefer the Sagers to a Dell...

I don't suggest buying from Sagernotebooks directly. If you decide to get a Sager, buy it from PCTorque or Powernotebooks. They will probably process your order much better and the service is unbeatable. Not to mention you get better features for less money for the same unit.

When buying from the US and delivering to Europe, be prepared to pay not only shipping costs but also VAT and may be even some custom tax. Certainly, this might be not the case for Switzerland, but check custom laws for your country before ordering any item.

Possible solution would be either to find a distributor of Sager notebooks in Europe or buy the machine from European distributors who sell Clevo notebooks under their own brand names. To my knowledge, there are over 10 such companies in Austria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, the UK and other countries.

I am not sure whether it is appropriate to post information on other companies selling Clevo notebooks under their own brand name, but ...

FOSA sells NP8886 model as FOSA MONTREAL one (NP5660 --> FOSA ALABAMA) and it has a local branch in Switzerland (http://www.fosa.ch/).
