Flashed D800 with M60 Bios, but still 266mhz

I thought I successfully flashed my D800 to the M60 (A07 bios) with USB utility...
But when I looked at the BIOS info. screen (first screen when entering set-up) I see that it is still 512 266 and not 512 333mhz.

I'm using KingMax memory that is 512mb DDR-333
Model #: MSAC22D-38KS3

I did have the D800 bios at ver. A11 when starting this process with a stick of PC2100 installed. Then I removed the PC2100 stick, installed the PC2700 stick (above kingmax) and flashed with this result.

Am I looking at the wrong settings? Can I reset something to get this up to 333mhz?

Thanks for the help!

The BIOS doesn't adjust the frequency or timmings unless the memory size changes. Try putting both sticks at once, turn the computer on, then shut it off, and leave only the 166 MHz DIMM again.

This is a bug, I noticed it too.

I tried this and it still displays "512mb @ 266 MHz" in the M60 A07 BIOS on the D800.

I was really looking forward to this working at 333MHz. I bought new RAM too.

Do you think that I need two sticks of 512mb DDR 333mhz for it to switch the clock speed in the BIOS?

Can RAM step down in speed and then get stuck at the lower speed?

Thanks again for the help!

Can anyone let me know about their successful flashing of a D800 with the M60 BIOS and then seeing the "in BIOS settings" change from 266mhz to 333mhz?

Thank you

BEWARE: Don't waste your time and money!!!

This never worked and I have researched many forums.

So, DON'T waste your time and money buying new PC2700 RAM for your D800, since it will not step up to it's speed.
