u just missed a $500 off coupon that would have saved you a ton of money instead of ordering from that guy....he made a ton of money off of you though haha

I don't mean to be a d*ck but he's right, dell now has either a $500 off or 25% off, and with what you got, the 25% off comes to about $525 off, or:

I normally don't comment when someone says they got a good deal and they didnt, but it would have been good if not for the two dell deals that are currently going on. Typically the sale is only 15% or 300 off.. which would have been identical to your deal.

And to make matter worse, you got a USED laptop and don't have the luxury of returning if you're not happy with it. Not to mention you've probably bought someone else's problem (well, lets hope the lappy doesn't have any !!)

1. i did the customization with the 25% coupon and the %500 off coupon, and it didnt save me that much.. id rather spend a couple extra hundred to make sure i have it in 2 days. like i said.. i didnt want to wait for dell to build my laptop.

2. its new (unopened box), not used.

haha it doesn't matter he got ripped off anyways.....this is exactly how those guys make a bundle of cash on ebay. Sell to people who have NO clue what the price of a computer should be. He could have gotten a 2 year warranty and all the stuff he wanted and saved $200.....and if he had problems he could return the thing.

Hey - Be happy - Thats a very nice laptop for a pretty good price. From what I hear dells service isn't up to much anyway - and your getting it now rather than in a few weeks.

Have fun when it arrives tomorrow.

Is this the first time you're buying from dell? You rarely wait that long. In my experience, even with ground shipping, everything takes about a week.

It took 6 days for mine to arrive. I ordered it on a Tuesday, I had it the following Monday.

Did you get the warranty put in your name? If it is new then it should have at least a 1 year warranty.

To be honest, eBay is not the place you want to purchase your Dell. I have a hunch that the seller probably got it last Oct when Dell had that $750 off $1500 sale (That's how I got mine, in my sig). The extra options over mine still means the seller probably makes at least $400 off you.

What's the issue here? The buyer is happy, the seller is richer... seems like a rip-win situation to me =)
