I've been posting and collecting pics of damaged Dells in the Dell gallery for several months: http://notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=34033
Anyone have damage shots of dead Apples? I'm looking for LCD cracks, lines, spots, dents, bumps, dents, everything!
See the above link for examples!

i do have a vicarious story however. i was talking on another forum about the harddrive's drubber mounting system and how it is "ruggedized". some guy popped in and said that he was carrying his G3 iBook down his stairs, slipped, out of his hand flew the iBook, bounced off a few steps, then the wall, and then then landed on the floor, where the display snapped off completely and went flying while the trackpad and mousepad popped out of the case. then...he took it over to his desktop plugged it into his external monitor. "chime". it booted. he was able to get his data off the system, and actually had it replaced w/ a G4 iBook by his home insurance policy.
