Dead Apples!

Thread Starter
I've been posting and collecting pics of damaged Dells in the Dell gallery for several months: http://notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=34033

Anyone have damage shots of dead Apples? I'm looking for LCD cracks, lines, spots, dents, bumps, dents, everything!

See the above link for examples!

Haven't see really damaged Apple in real life. But I have seen one in a show called "Distraction" in Comedy Central. In that show, as the contestant failed to answer 1 question in the final round, they will have a choice to blow several prices (One of them is ibook. However the contestant didn't know which prizes that they will blow). 2 shows and i have see 2 people blown an apple ibook (And what i mean by "blow" is really a blow!! Dang, i just can't see that kind of thing!! The ibook shattered and fly away.. Awesome, but also a bit sad...

sorry, my ibook is in tip top shape. but i'll sure to keep u in mind if my iBook takes a digger. i do have a vicarious story however. i was talking on another forum about the harddrive's drubber mounting system and how it is "ruggedized". some guy popped in and said that he was carrying his G3 iBook down his stairs, slipped, out of his hand flew the iBook, bounced off a few steps, then the wall, and then then landed on the floor, where the display snapped off completely and went flying while the trackpad and mousepad popped out of the case. then...he took it over to his desktop plugged it into his external monitor. "chime". it booted. he was able to get his data off the system, and actually had it replaced w/ a G4 iBook by his home insurance policy.

A few years ago there was a picture of a powerbook G4, where a woman had gotten it wet and put it in the oven to dry for 20 minutes. The images are gone - I can't find any anywhere.

My own PowerBook was dropped by my college roommate and is now held together by contact cement. Not really 'dead' per se but damaged:
