so what does Back order on FX-55 and powersupply mean to ME?

I am kinda upset that my processor and powersupply is on back order. Alienware said it would not set back my ship date of feb 23rd.(I ordered on the 31st of jan) There is no way i can get the system in three weeks with two main components on back order.

u think thats bad i ordered my computer on Dec. 27,2004 and still dont have my computer the only thing i can tell u is to just chill out and be patient youll get it when it comes !!!!!!!!!!

yeah, it prob means you're gonna wait. The one thing bad about alienware is the wait for components. But you simply can't avoid it. Good luck in the phase game, it'll be worth it in the end.

thanks DB...now get this...i cant even check my status because it says "invalid order or email address"...now im gonna be pissed if they "lost my order."

that is just a problem likely with their web page. They have not lost your order (sure they do nightly backups and have raid-based servers).
