If it was the drivers it would be a dream come true ;_;

I ask myself why Nvidias DDR3 GPU is just to 330 but the DDR2 to 340.. ???? Are the GPUs with the DDR2 Ram even better quality than those with DDR3 ? I guess, they are just the same. And that is very very disappointing.
We´ve heard several times officially that the GPU clocks of the new 6800go would be around 450-600. So they just kept GPU and only changed RAM. And that is a joke, a real joke. We´ve had expected even 16 pipelines, and now even clocks are just the same. What a shame. It means that NVidia has given up this chance to be on top. They are LOSERS. There is absolutely NO NEED to upgrade to DDR3-Nvidia as both NVidia Cards performance the same. Atis better, okay, BUT difference is not too much, not enough for me to invest 460 bucks, no, no. 1000pts in 3D03 and 1000pts in 3d05 and nearly same performance in so many games, I can do something else with this money. And I´m a real freak.
Let´s see and hope at the end of year a REAL improvement can be bought. All this stuff is just disappointing.
And BTW: What is the sense of the additional plate with the new NVidia as they have same scores at same clocks ?

In 3DMark 05 there is a 30% improvement from stock speeds & a 12% improvement from overclocked speeds. Theres also a 19% jump from stock on aquamark. That is a quite an improvement.
Unfortunately, your expectations of a 6800Go running at 450+ would require a whole new architecture & several million dollars of r&d from nVidia. Only the vapor-ware desktop 6800 Ultra Extreme can run 16 pipes .13u at 450Mhz core. Alot if people thought there would be a .11u core, andrepeterhill expecially. That's just what happends when people take a rumor & run with it. The core is EXACTLY the same, only the RAM has changed. The new rev2 is just a classic case of RAM speed overkill (being too fast than what the cores fillrate can use).
You just cannot put a 16-pipe .13u chip in a notebook. The power requirements are just too high. The cooling requirements are also just too high.
