wow, that is awesome
I second that. Original look too, it's not a ripoff of windows or mac os. Does it replace the windows explorer? Someone try some benchmarks between the two. I am interested to see the margin in performance.

... benchmarks in what? Its a shell replacement. As i mentioned it loads faster, and that's about all you can bench.

It IS still windows, so you got all the settings and what ho, it's just that the SHELL is more effective and allows for infinitely more customization.

And this is just a theme of many, some are more similar to XP some to mac...

The windows explorer is still a bit active, for example you use it to surf files and so on. If it was a homepage, this would replace the front page... its a shell replacement =)

i installed it, didn't like it. oh well :P

i dont think the aston thing is free is it

No, absolutely not. And the payment does not stretch over upgrades, so it has turned into quite a cost... if you are sucker enough to pay.

The thing that you have to remember, is that it takes time to customize it to the way you want it - don't download it and say - hey, the heaven's angels didn't sing, im changing!.

For example: The clock. The top menu. The side menus (which you haven't even seen). Misc plugins and so on and son.

I mean, my "modification" to the theme took several hours. The result? I got EVERYTHING just where I want it. And then I turned religious =)

no really i am not being sarcastic!

It is a shell replacement as some other said, windows opens faster with it! trust me!
it is not just a/an small/ordinary skin/theme

of course if you have a i9100/ixps (that was a joke )

It's not a shell replacement.

It just cracks the windows theme dll and adds it's own theme and icons and shit.
does it uninstall cleanly with no traces of "poo" left all over the place ?
i dont think anything in windows uninstalls cleanly. thats why to get rid of 'poo' either manually go thru your registry or use crap cleaner

Hah, one of the things I've really fallen in love with on the Mac. For most programmes you drag their folder to the trash and that's it. If you want to be a little more thorough you do a search for the name of the programme and just delete everything you see.

No yucky registry to deal with either.
