Which laptop?

Thread Starter
Hello, I will be purchasing a laptop in the next week for audio. I have been looking at the sager 4750, 4791, and 3790. With the processors being the main differences and not needing mobility, I would like to have some point of views on if one of these laptops or another would be best for audio editing.

pentium 4 based laptops are usually the best in any kind of encoding/compiling, so in your case i'd get the 4791, or the 9860 if you can afford it.

what about in terms of battery life??

If you get a P4, then you are F'ed on battery life, won't get more than two hours

Not trying to sound downbeat or anything, but that is just the way life is, P4 is not there for battery life

I think the P-Ms will do just as good as AMDs or P4s in terms of audio.
