4790 died

After 3 incredible months with my sager 4790 (this is my first sager, previously had used Toshiba laptops) my screen went completely blank while I was working.

I shut down and waited a few hours and rebooted it. Still no display. Nothing at all.

I call tech support and leave a message for a call back, then today I also fill out an online support call request.

Now I wait for the call.

It has been an incredible 3 months with the 4790. By far the best laptop I have ever owned.

I hope the repair is quick!

Have you tried the Safe Mode and boot from a previous config. yet? These have helped restore from the B(lank)Screen Of D(arkness) for me on a 4780.

same happened with my 4780. after repairs it's been wonderful ever since.
