I was looking for an affordable sub15" laptop and stumbled across this interesting find -

Looks like a nice laptop - 13.3" screen too like the sony and fujitsu (though I dont think its a 'bright glossy' finish).

Having not ever seen this notebook before, was wonderng what the rest of you guys thought of it? On the face of it, its looks pretty good for a commuting non-gamer like myself.
Just not sure of Packard Bell though.

Let me know what you guys think......

Ah Packard Bell...they haven't bee in the US in ages....

Not sure who is their ODM. I think they design their own, similar to Acer.

The chasis appear to be similar to the Fujitsu 13.3 offering. Perhaps the same ODM?

Does anyone have any experience with the newer Packard Bell systems like the one above? Its a Packard Bell EasyNote A 7720. available for €1099

The chassis does look familar, can't seems to figure out where I've seen it before...

I think it is a Clevo design from the speaker location. Let poke around to verify.

shared memory for integ graphics is always bad....heres why....it steals x ammount of RAM from the system...and the system RAM is slower than graphics RAM. I would recommend a radeon 9600 with 64mb for any non-gamer
