Habe has finally got it!

I got the 7700 today!!!!! I waited so long and finally its here!
I have to thank Alienware-Fiachra for sorting out the problems and the people here reading my posts! I have to apologise to the mods for posting some complaints when I started to lose patience towards the end!


I am so happy, I finished setting up the new speakers and doing some basic installations. I will post up photos later, just give me a few weeks to write up the complete review. I won't be posting for a bit now!

what specs did u get, and did u order a second battery? i ordered mine on the 12th november and mines been in phase 9 for about 2 weeks now and ive been told that its been held back because the second battery was on back order

That's pretty quick, ordered mine last Monday (31st Jan) and I'm on phase 5

2nd Feb - Phase 3
4th Feb - Phase 4
7th Feb - Phase 5

Hey guys, I just finished installing the games and watched some DVDs with the 5.1 speaker. I have to say the laptop is performing very well. I still have many things to do though! I'm still excited about the Alienware!

For all those waiting in the UK hang in there because you will be defenitly happy when it comes like me. If you have any questions just PM me, I will try my best to answer them!

P.S. - The specs = 3.6ghz Processor, 2GB RAM with 4x512, Dual Hard Drive 60GB Raid 0, 2 optical drives, External Sound Card Audigy 2 NX, Built in Wireless, 3 years warranty...

I put in the Creative 5.1 speaker and Sennheiser PC140 for extras with the Video Performance software and AlienAutopsy

heh a second battery ... I like seeing guys go out and use these desktop replacements as true laptops. id rather ditch the battery and run of solar or a old fashioned hand crank generator.

I joined in November, so you are a rookie! (J/K!!! only a few months apart), and yes I got you in MSN.

Just finishing burning my CDs right now. I basically done all the things I need to do for this Laptop. I just need to wait a few more hours so that the US guys start playing on the CS:S server

P.S. I did the benchmarks, so going to slowly start writing the big review!

I hope this loan works out, or I may have to scour the second hand laptops/desktop because there is no finance in the UK till at least late March..
