Thank you for helping, I need a laptop and here is my criteria.

1) Solid build quality
2) 512 system memory
3) 15" screen WS or FS but resolution not higher then 1600x1200 (so text is not micro sized), would prefer widescreen for keeping two programs open at once on desktop
4) Black color
5) Pentium M Centrino
6) Good battery life (high cell count battery), 4 hours with moderate use wanted
7) Not too bulky, Not too heavy, not desktop replacement and not ultra mobile
8) Built in wired and wireless
9) 64 MB ATi Video card
10) Very quiet keyboard
11) Maximum budget = $1,500
12) Reputable Manufacturer (eg takes care of customers)

Main usage: Business applications, Desktop applications, No FPS Gaming.

Please help me, I need to buy a laptop very soon! Thank you!

That is easy, Asus M6000 series..

AKA: M6BNE etc

Not sure about the monitor resolution being that high though. But the rest is pretty close.

Discountlaptops.com, Mwave.com, powernotebook.com etc is pretty good on service. Look at the sticky

actually it has 10 out of the 12 on your list. the only ones it doesnt meet are:

3) 15" screen WS or FS but resolution not higher then 1600x1200 (so text is not micro sized), would prefer widescreen for keeping two programs open at once on desktop
4) Black color

I have an old P3m lappy....you want?

Yeah, I read through that and I'm like "wow, that just describes the M6BNe, is this guy just pulling my leg?" lol

You will be able to get it from a good reseller, and possibly get the extra battery for the drive bay for that price, but I'm not sure since it's been awhile since I looked at prices.

I don't see any helping out going on just some geezer trying to sell his old laptop.

You definitely want a Thinkpad. This will score full marks on every single one of your points - possibly with a small question mark on the $1500 budget - but even that should be OK since you don't need the latest and greatest.

Go to http://forum.thinkpads.com and ask around.
