mp3 battery life

I have heard a couple of complaints about the mp3 player battery life--I used to have a rio 500 and it lasted about 10 hours on one triple a batt. What about the 8886's player?

would be the link you want. There are complaints that its batt life is too short, but is more often used to move files.

So you got a rio too huh? Did it work well for you? I think this will be my 3rd or 4th mention of my dislike toward rio because my 800 crapped out. Probably my fault though, but I thought Rio would be idiot-proof in case people like me wanted to experiment.

Also, I just sent beebster 128MB of RAM for his. I'm sure he'll add MP3 testing results and battery life to his review when he gets it.

I sure will :-) If anyone has specific requests, post up on the review thread, but I wrote in there some of my initial intentions.
