I am too. It will be pretty cool if they made lets say an external video card... ie usb...
Like it had its own power supply, fans, and such. The laptop would have its own video card but nothing fancy. SO the user could save power when browsing the net, typing a report, or the famous mouse racing game in paint I saw on here some odd weeks ago( not to mention that game royally kicks ass...). But when its time to play some games.... Plug in the video card to the wall and usb and hardcore game.... This could solve alot of problems with upgrades and such... I know I would buy one... But there are some limitations... Just a cool thought Id pass around... Maybe this new usb video is the birth of truly portable video cards.........

That would be wonderful but alas unless they design external PciE video cards that won't happen. There is no IO interface nearly fast enough for such a thing. USB2 is really quite slow at 480Mb/s and PCMCIA is only a little better at 133MB/s. If I remember correctly agp 8x is 2GB/s. So those external video cards are only good for 2d display purposes only.
