And the 12" powerbook actualy uses a GeForceFX-GO now

DigitalPro, have you thought about just getting it upgraded to a 5690? (9700/ p4 800mhz fsb)...

You are right, my mistake. Doh!

OSX is based off of UNIX, specifically the BSD flavour.

As far as drivers, ATI has made great improvments in this area. Personally, I would choose the Omega drivers for both ATI and Nvidia GPUs.

I think I want to go back to school, just for the discount percs.

Yea, i did think about that quite a bit when they just started offerng those upgrades, and I felt that $800++ was just way to much for that upgrade.
