But is your Logitech BT desktop keyboard and mouse utilizing its own BT receiver connected to a USB port, or is it working with the 9860's internal BT? Because that would make a difference.

I want dual processor support, and I mean dual, as in one AMD and one Intel, either working together for a combined performance increase or separately on different thread. Also, it needs to have a better cup holder, one that doesn't wear out after a couple of weeks.

Love my 9860 but an extra hard drive would make it perfect. I want to use my internal dual SATA's for data storage. An additional HD would allow me to have my boot and system files separate from the RAID drives.

But the 9860 has two cupholders! Problem is, they're stacked one over the other, so you can only use one at a time!

On a more serious note, while we're complaining and ranting, I would like to see sager using better screens. I have a bright red lit pixel about a half inch from the top of my display. Just got it today, when i first fired it up, no lit pixels. After running it for five minutes one popped up. I know for a fact that MOST screens don't develop them. I work at an electronics retailer; about one out of thirty or forty notebooks develop lit/dead pixels within the three months they are on display. However, from what I am hearing on the forums, it seems half the 9860s out there have lit pixels. It's a shame...

I am trying to decide right now (as my first hdd format approaches 100%) if I should keep this one, exchange it for a different one and pay the return shipping, or just return it and keep my toshiba 5205-s703. I'll have a better idea when windows is installed, the drivers are working, etc.

If it weren't for that damn red pixel the thought of returning this beautiful beast wouldn't have even crossed my mind. (the pictures really don't do it justice.)

You can sure add anything you want. Keep it real (maybe for the next release of Clevo).

-Dual gigabyte LAN
-1.3 megapixel video camera (or more)
-3.5 inch hard disks. They are one inch bigger and can hold much much more.
-Hardware encryption
-Biometric recognition key (thumb print).
-Faster response screen.
-WaterCooling.

That's it for me.
I'm assuming you're just being an idiot for comedy sakes?

No its using the internal bluetooth reciever on the laptop. That's the whole point...

There are already notebooks that have built-in fingerprint readers... IBM sells some, as do some other people (I forget whom though). IBM aims at the business market (after all, they are International Business Machines) but Clevo aims at the gamer market, and a fingerprint reader is much less important for those people... it would be neat, but it's not where Clevo should be focusing.

I have another idea. How about extending the notebook's life, by having a feature where the fans stay on after shutting the system down, until the internals cool down enough. If a simple video projector can do it, why not a beast like this? Of course, it would need to have an override, so that we can throw it into the bag real fast.
