Hello Everybody,
I've spent several weeks researching the market and found the Vaio S series laptops to be my dream machines. Unfortunately, I'm helplessly addicted to two big screens and I can't even imagine of working with the 13" notebook display when I'm not en route.
Furtunately, there's a docking station for the S series (VGP-PRS1), that has two video outs: one VGA and one DVI-D. Now I'm wondering whether it is possible to use both connectors at the same time in dual monitor mode, instead of the internal display. The question is not so far off - someone was able to do the same thing with a Dell Latitude D400, which is a subnotebook as well.
So my question is: Does somebody in this forum have a Vaio S with docking station and can confirm or decline that it's possible to run two external monitors (one VGA, one DVI) with it?
Many thanks in advance for your help and best regards,
Longrun
