I just bought one of these and it is just AWESOME!!

It is a High Definition Digital TV Tuner and it Rocks big time!

Go here... www.dvico.com

and look at http://www.dvico.com/products_dvbt_usb.html for the exact product detail..

I use this card on my I9100 with an Sxga screen and the picture quality is absolutely awesome! I have never seen television so crystal clear. Also, you can record it digitally, either in Standard Definition or High Definition, if you want to burn it to a DVD, be sure to record in SD only as the typical DVD player gets overloaded with the HD bit rate.

Aside from my 9100, this is the best PC product I have ever purchased!

Ten out of Ten from me.

YOu just need the laptop and the device, that is all you need, it receives free to air digital and high definition digital TV.

Not sure if it works in the US.

I'm still skeptical about how the product works lol. Just the tuner and laptop seems abit weird. I'm sure those HDTV providers would scramble their signals so unless Divco is a cable company itself, I highly doubt its going to work in the US.

They seem to sell it in the US too though, checked the "where to buy" link.

I don't know about the USA, but in Australia, the major broadcasting channels (We only have five) broadcast all their programs in normal Analogue TV, but also in Standard Definition and High Definition Digital Transmissions.

The DVICO simply is a TV tuner that receives these completely free signals and allows them to be viewed on any PC.

I guess if there is no such thing as free to air digital tv in the USA you might be skeptical, but I promise that DVICO is not a cable company and that I am watching perfect quality Digital TV that is not costing me a cent.
