Acer Ferrari 3000 cpu/video overheating

So here's my problem...
Bought a ferrari about 6 months ago and about 2 months ago i've been having problems with it. I sent it back to Acer, they sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with it, plust they sent it back to someone who wasn't me. Some person in NY (i live in PA), i dont really know how i actually got it back, but anyway...

after using my ferrari for about 5 min. the screen becomes covered with horizontal lines that change color, pictures are located here:

i've opened it up and the heatsink on the cpu is getting extremily hot, i've cleaned out everything and made sure it was getting propper ventialtion and still the problem exists, i've even added new heatsink paste junk
it seems that when i press down on the heat sink onto the processor the vertical lines stop and i can see the screen again, but i'm not going to sit there and hold down the processor while i try to use my laptop

well, anyway i really can't use it the way it is and would like to fix it (since i paid for it and all), (and not send it back to Acer since they screwed up so much, plus my warranty is up in about a week).......
any suggestions??? (sorry for the length of the post)

Send it back to Acer for repair or replacement.
