For some reason there is a device listed in the Device Manager of XP that says "Mass Storage Contoller" with a yellow question mark. XP doesn't know what it is. Can anyone direct me to the drivers for it?

go on intel website and go get the INF Chipset driver. It will install the Mass Storage Controller.

I did not have that problem and never installed the cardreader driver.

When I originally go the notebook, it didn't have that problem since XP Home was pre-installed. However when I put in XP Pro, it didn't know what that was.

I've been thinking.... I wonder if I can add a card reader in it. There is a slot where it's suppose to go. From the looks of it, the controller is already onboard..
