I just got one of these today from CompUSA, they're a pretty good deal:
2.0 GHZ AMD Athlon XP 64
512 Megs of RAM
60 gig HD (4200 rpm though)
64 Megs vid RAM, NVIDIA Geforce 4 440 Go
I like the overall design of the laptop, very sleek and looks pretty with the silver and black. The screen is amazing, very bright and looks beautiful. The thing is pretty quiet, and that's probably due to the AMD processor with the PowerNOW technology (CPU throttling). Keyboard feels good, although I gotta get used to the layout (some keys bigger than expected, delete key way up in the corner, etc.). Touchpad works fine, but I just use a little USB mouse anyway. Machine is pretty light and not too thick, pretty easy to carry around. Unreal tournament 2003 runs awesome, haven't tried 2004 yet but I'm sure it works great too. 64 megs may not be as much as some of the high dollar machines with 128 or 256 in them, but it's enough for me. I'm not a big gaming guy anyway. All in all, the thing feels solid, looks awesome and performs very well.
