I got my S360P tonight... Questions

I got my s360P and it's awsome.
I plan on doing an indepth review later on.
However.
Is there any way I can reformat the drive and install my own stuff on the computer?
I hate all this sony preloaded crap.

I heard that you can't really do it because the sony won't run the same without it's programs.
Help me out

Sure. Make your recovery disks first, in case there is a problem. Then use your copy of Windows XP to reformat. Of course, you'll then need to install all of the drivers again from the Sony CD and people have reported problems with the S-buttons after doing so.
