I wanted to see how many people could beat me---

My place in line- 11th

Post you'r place and how YOU stack up!

Ahahah dosent matter what place I have in place, I LIVE IN CA! I'm screwed! Damn CA tax Oh well, next day shipping will come in handy!

when you post place in line, post date and time you placed your order [should be on invoice] so those that dont know their place on line can estimate [like me ]

I'm #27 for the 8890, I would have been lower but my dad cc company has crazy security that you have to be on the phone with them while making a purchase greater than $500

My order was placed on the 18th at 10:55 PM. I was told that they could not give me an exact number, but my order is definitely in the top 20. I'd be interested in seeing some more dates and times to get an idea of where my order stands.

Oh yeah, I ordered a 5680

I am 78 for the 8890, but me and my cousin ordered together, so that makes us 78 and 79 since we bought two laptops with one order.

Yep, I know. I ordered an 8890 and called to cancel that order and place one for a 5680 instead. When I called I asked when I can place my order for the 5680 and they sent me a "special invitation" link to pre-order the 5680. This is another reason why I am curious to see the dates of other 5680 orders.

Maybe I'm special after all ???

After submitting my first reply to this thread I followed up with an email to the place where I purchased it asking for more details on order time and number. They just said my order is likely to be in the top 20.
