Phases kill enthousiasm

Hey all,

When i ordered my laptop on january, i was very excited.

Now, due to the lack of the phases, i'm not enthousiasm anymore and my enjoy goes away from day to day.

I know i'll receive my system, but that's never mind now, i waited too long.

I feelt the same with Half Life 2, i waited too much, and when i received it, i wasn't really enthousiasm and i play it cause i bought it, but no enjoy.

Well though i am still exited to get my machine, i can understand your problem. As with Half-life 2 i waited so long and i played it with much joy, i also found it a bit short or easy i'm not sure.

I think you will still enjoy your system when you get it eventually. So just cheer when you move up in the phases. There is not much you can do about it.

ive been waiting since the day i ordered it on Dec 27 and its still in phase 8, but im being patient !!!!!!!!!!

it can definitely be a buzz kill. mainly because we do so much work before we even order the pc. research, budgeting, configuration...all of these factors fall into our purchase and tend to build anticipation once we've decided on something this pricey. I would never have considered buying an alienware or even a new computer, but I've been living paycheck to paycheck without purchasing anything for myself for about 3 years. i finally got a new job that lets me pay all my debt easily and purchase a new computer. the phase game was terrible at first, but I'm used to waiting and rarely getting any money at all. now that i have a lot more money i can't figure out what to spend it on...so i'm just paying more on my debt and saving cash just take a deep breath and try to forget about the purchase...it'll come when it comes, just try not to stress it. i'll get excited at phase 14

I ordered mine on the 31st, and I'm still excited, albeit in a low-key sort of way. I've tried to keep my mind occupied by waiting on other things that won't take as long, and it's worked fairly well without diminishing my enthusiasm overmuch. Phase 5...heck yeah.

I know it takes somewhat..hell, a lot longer for you guys that are outside of the US but I really think it is every bit worth the wait..I know, easy for me to say as I have mine but it won't be long for you guys...I hope!!

I had my final phone today with alienware.

I told them that if my phases won't move tomorrow (I'm in phase 2 since 1 week now only for adding a HD), i'll cancel my order and will buy a sager.

I am more then willing to wait for my Alien. You however aren't, go with something that ships faster is my only point. It is more then apparent that AW can take over a month to ship thier product, if you can't be patient go elsewhere.

I felt the same way dude. Waited for days. Still waiting but it shipped out today!!!
I can say it appears you are going through phase frustration. Its a normal side effect of ordering the Aw. However trust me whne I say when it goes to shipping you get back the excitement. After all you ordered a Aw. There was a reason. Do something besides think about your aw. It will come.

I got confirmation that accouting department retrieve my money from my visa card (It took 8 days for this).

The guy at phone told me that i should be phase 8 next week, but don't knoy why, i don't trust him.

But now, all is ok, but i had too much probs and waiting too long, so it's never mind, i'm not excited anymore to get an AW system, and the only reason that i didn't cancel the order is that i bought world of warcraft and need the AW system for playing.
