Glad to see many people joining up! I don't mind ping times getting higher... it's actually fact that bf1942 inaccurately reports ping times. The only time I get mad is when it starts chopping up and saying "Warning connection problems detected". If you cause that, lol, then you will have to leave unfortunately, cuz it's not fun for anyone when that happens. Good connections will keep us ok... we won't have more than 16 people on at once I don't think, lol. I'll prolly limit it to 16 unless I set it to 32 and we don't get any problems. If you are on and spontaneously you get kicked or something (without warning), then wait a sec and try to sign back on. Most likely I shut down the server to change some settings.

I played tribes2 but I didn't like how there weren't separate controls for flight and such, like there are in battlefield. Cuz I am wierd and I like my mouse inverted with flight but not when it's just a fps, lol. :-) I like how battlefield splits the controls for each.

Tonight ladies and gentlemen... Tonight is the night. :-) I'll start the server up at 8 eastern, and just leave it on. I'll be off and on it myself, but mostly on it :-) So just join up and be on whenever you can be. It'll just repeat the map with about 250% tickets, so we'll make them longer games. I personally don't like wake island much, because if the teams are even slightly uneven, it's hell, lol. It's a huge island, hard to get around unless you've got a plane, and impossible to fully defend unless you've got bf beasts on your team. Lol :-) Switch up teams periodically, and make sure they stay even as possible. It's a friendly game anyway, so no reason to develop true loyalties :-) Although if Adam is on there at any time, I'll personally wanna stick with him, lol, defend the king :-) At some point I'll have to switch teams and become a hunter... :-) Just make sure and HAVE FUN, alrighty? I don't think anyone here really has a problem with temper or language use, lol... It's alright to use a word here and there, that's pretty much natural, but nothing too icky... See you all there!!!

Just come to this thread at 8 or a little before and I'll have posted the IP address and port number for you to use with the instructions posted above. Write those down and join up :-) I will delete them a while later (prolly around midnight eastern time), so if you plan on joining after that, make sure you come write them down before they're gone.

A reminder :-)

When you get in the demo (make sure you have the 1.1 patch installed), click multiplayer, and then click "Add server" and in the little window that pops up, type in the IP address and port number and click join. I will prolly put a password on the server, and that will be listed here with the IP and port number that night. Essentially, all you have to do is come here to this thread, write down the IP, port number, and password on a sheet of paper, and close this up and open battlefield and follow those directions. Join up, use the name you use on sagerforums, and HAVE FUN. :-)

JOIN UP!! :-) The server is up and running. I should be on there frequently (my name will be Camel because that's my callsign on games and I've already set it as such and I don't want to go through and change my controls again for another profile, lol, unless I can just change the name in which case I'll be beebster83). Everyone use their sagerforums name otherwise so we know who is who. That'll be more fun :-)
