Hello Everyone,
First I must say " Great Site" !!!
I currently own a Pro-Star 8814 (Clevo D800p) with a SXGA 16.1" LCD that is 4:3 Aspect Ratio. Not one flaw with this system but the MR9600 Pro is becoming dated to say the least. Besides work I love the ability to have a mobile gaming system. Lock-on Modern Air Combat, Forgotten Battles IL-2, Pacific Fighters, and Battlefield Vietnam is what I am playing now. All seem to be set to 4:3 Aspect Ratio. How well do these work with these new Widescreens? Does it look like Silly Puddy placed on a Newspaper and then pulled wider?
No Seriously, I am concerned about the image not being rendered correctly.
Yes I know how to edit the registry and edit config files in games but, I really do not want this hassle. Just load up the CD and
. If you know what I mean. I want to be flying not playing with the setup so much.
What brings me to this question is the future upgrade coming soon due to the dual core CPU's and Graphics Options these systems offer. If these Widescreens do not pose a threat, a WUXGA sounds up my alley, If there are too many hassles, I will keep in search for a UXGA 15" or 16" 4:3 Aspect Ratio System.
Any sound advice or on hands knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Monnie
