This is a Sager NP 8790. I bought it in May 2004. It has been used mainly on my desk in my dorm room. I actually passed Half-Life 2 on this laptop in a van! It also plays Doom 3, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Halo very well. The 16:9 aspect ratio 17" screen is perfect for watching widescreen movies. The resolution is 1680x1050 and after thoroughly inspecting my screen I can safety say I have NO DEAD or STUCK PIXELS!!
