Video recording using the 9100s video dongle

Hi, I don't have my manual and I haven't been able to find the online manual.

I'm using the composiote video connector on the little dongle thing that comes with the 9100 to watch movies on my tv (into a similar yellow video jack on the video ). My question is, what are the other outputs on the dongle? I'd like to be able to record pictures and sound, but my video only has the RCA stuff connectors (and a scart on the back). What are the options?

Cheers!

Unfortunately the 9100/XPS only comes with video out. You will have to purchase an external card to provide video in, Such as the ATI TV Wonder USB 2.0, or a any other video in card. Do a search for this topic and you should find more info. There was a topic about this subject a few days ago that you can also look at for more info.

Thanks for the reply. Essentially I was asking what the dongle features. I think one is composite, one is S-video, I was wondering about the other....

Anyway, I can use the stereo jack to get the sound anyway.

Cheers!

The other is SPDIF - digital sound.
Your TV has Scart - I'm not entirely sure but there must exist (S-Video + Audio)-to-Scart converter. Using S-Video you'll get better picture.
