How has your laptops been working? Mine seems like its going down hill. During startup i have about 3 programs that get errors and close. Also Half-life 2 froze up hard core for the first time. Is any one else have trouble with there laptop....should i have gotten that sager??

Sorry to hear that....
but sounds more to me like a software issue......

My zd8000 is holding rock solid with no problems.....
Have you kept all the preloaded software on the HP......
I for one wipe the drive and reload the lappy in my fashion....
Load my own custom video drivers, ect.....

Also sounds like you caught a worm or trojan virus....

I tried to play quake3 and it freezes after abouty 20 seconds. This could be because my 3rd fan wasn't working, but I doubt it. Sounds like you have the same problem with this POS.

Well there is this thing HP puts into your computer that stops the opening and use of certain programs on your computer because of HP Security Issues. And believe me HP has "ISSUES".....But i would check for viruses and make sure I have my firewall on and i would love to help with the half life problem. Maybe try playing at a lower setting....don't kno..

I play HL2 everyday and I have yet to crash....
