Jumping back a phase?!?

Yesterday I had checked my phase status and was on phase 3, I checked again today and all of a sudden I jumped back to phase 2. What's up with that, I haven't even changed my order at all or anything of the sort. Has this happened to anybody else, or is Alienware just playing with my head?

I've called up and have now been told that somebody upgraded my power supply or something along those lines. I can accept a bit of a wait time, but changing around orders, what kind of service is this?

I suppose I can see the irony in that but here's the whole story I finnally got off phone from a fellow over in billing. The entire shannanigan went something along these lines:

Last tuesday I ordered. This Monday I jumped to phase three, then today I jumped back to phase two. I call up in the morning and the guys over in sales have no clue what's happening and say that a wait for systems to be built is to be expected. Later in the day I call up financing only to find out that they're charging an additional $500 dollars to my credit-card. I've already broke the bank at a grand total of somewhere in the $6,000 range and I have to call about four or five times to only find that $500 has been added to the price tag and they had no clue what the item was. Eventually the boys over at financing got the entire thing worked out, which I'm really thankful for.

I can accept that it'll take time to build these computers, but when I'm spending this kind of money, I do at least have the right to be pissed when nobody knows what's up and I have to go bypass customer service to find out what is acutally happening.

I'm sure it was a mistake, but the point is: Charge me as much as you want, but don't start changing around the deal behind my back.

Eveything is all happy again now, and I'm back in phase 3, but that really was some strange stuff...
