9860 SATA cable connector ?

Hello. I have a 9860 with an IDE/ATA disk drive, and I would want to change it to an SATA disk drive. Is the interface cable connector for ATA drive the same as for SATA ? I looked at the pictures on the 9860 review and it looks as though the interface cable connector is the same, one face is for ATA and the opposite face is for SATA ? Am I right or is it necessary to change the connector and thus to order a special connector for SATA :-( ?

SATA is a different connector I believe.

No, it's not the same cable. When I ordered my 9860 from PCTorque, I anticipated that I might want to change to SATA at some point in the future, so I asked them to include the other cables with my order.

You can email techsupport@sagernotebook.com, or you can email your reseller and they should be able to set you up with an order.

Thank you. That's what I did, it seems it took more time to come here in France but now they have it.
