I'm on my 2nd problem with this worthless company. I got my zd8000 a couple
of weeks ago. First, the adapter worked only if I put the cord in special angles. Which would only last about 5 min. So, they fedex'd me a new one. Everything was fine for a couple of days. Once in a while though the whole laptop would freeze up. I noticed where I put my right hand, kinda in the middle, was very very hot. So I turned it over and the middle fan wasn't coming on. Now, I had to box up the laptop and they came by and picked it up last Monday. Here it is Sunday and I've called them 3 times. All Indians with American sounding names like Rex and Ted. They don't understand my anger when I tell them I use this laptop for my work. So I asked for a manager to find out when I was going to get it back. Her name was like Shelly or something, another Indian and she barley spoke a lick of English. She assured me that she would 'put a rush' on the service request. My ass. I asked about a refund and they said that only after 5 repairs, could I get a new laptop.......I am so frustrated right now. Not that the fact it broke again, the fact that I can't get a clear answer to when I will get my laptop back. On top of that, I get people that don't understand my language and they just are silent when I'm asking them things because they don't understand what I'm SAYING. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. . Also, I can't even get an answer to how to hook up my VCR to the TV tuner. The people I talk to on tech support don't even know what a VCR is and they just tell me they don't have any documentation on what I"m asking....................ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I'm losing it......
